Duties:
* Study psychiatrist is responsible for initial evaluation of potential patients for ongoing intervention studies for the treatment of depression in individuals over the age of 60, confirming eligibility criteria, conducting the consent process and enrolling the patients. Conduct weekly or bi-weekly follow-up visits as per protocols, with doses titrated depending on protocol, clinical response and tolerability. Research forms are completed at each visit. Medication management includes management of side effects, drug-drug interactions and to contact, as needed, patient's primary care provider or specialists such as cardiologists or neurologists.
* Study psychiatrists will join a thriving research team as part of the Program on Aging and Late Life Brain Disorders with an opportunity to collaborate on the development of future research projects, the publication of research findings in peer reviewed journals, and to further their education in the fields of psychiatry, neuroscience, and geriatrics.

Qualifications:
* BE/BC. Familiarity with antidepressant medications preferred. DEA license required.

Salary:  Based on 50% full-time schedule $75,000.00.
