Anticipated Position
Experienced Research Assistant needed to work full time on a new clinical trial evaluating the feasibility and effectiveness of a cognitive health intervention conducted with adults with serious mental illness in outpatient behavioral health clinics in NYC.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Research Assistant will work closely with the research team in the role of assessor and data manager. Responsibilities include:
1. Obtaining informed consent for research participation
2. Conducting diagnostic interviews (SCID-5) and screening measures to determine study eligibility
3. Conducting clinical interviews to rate psychiatric symptoms, quality of life, and functioning at each clinical site pre and post treatment
4. Independently conducting and scoring neurocognitive assessments at each clinical site post treatment.
5. Coordinating and scheduling research procedures at clinical sites
6. Data entry and database management

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with at least one year related experience; Master's degree preferred and acceptable in lieu of related experience. Must be able to travel throughout NYC to meet and interview subjects. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters level is preferred. Background in mental health field preferred. Prefer candidate with clinical experience with seriously mentally ill; and experience with diagnostic and clinical interviewing, psychiatric symptom assessment and neurocognitive assessment.
