The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Aide to support their training and research activities at The Center for Practice Innovations (CPI) in the Division of Behavioral Health Services and Policy Research. CPI is a vibrant and growing Center specializing in providing training and technical assistance to behavioral health providers to support implementation of broad range of evidence-based practices.  CPI staff work as a collaborative team, using cutting edge technology and implementation science to support providers.  CPI staff are also actively involved in grant writing and peer-reviewed publications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process vouchers for heavy volume of travel in the Center.  This includes tracking travel dates, interacting with travelers for receipts and related information, checking and confirming that regulations are followed, completing travel voucher and approval documents, obtaining appropriate signatures, and following up as needed.  (approx. 45%)
  • Process travel vouchers for the Health and Aging Policy Fellows program. (approx. 10%)
  • Providing support for meetings such as coordinating dates, scheduling rooms, sending reminders, ordering food and supplies, assisting with the creation and refinement of Power Point presentations (approx. 25%)
  • Other administrative duties as they arise which may include assembling materials, mailings, locating information on the internet, and other tasks. (20%)
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and one year related experience preferred
  • Previous experience in an academic or non-profit environment preferred.
  • The incumbent must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and must be very detail oriented and flexible. 
  • Applicants MUST be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
