The Assistant Research Scientist will be involved in a number of clinical trials that evaluate the effectiveness of treatments for child and adolescent psychiatric disorders, which may include Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Social Phobia.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Subject/patient recruitment
-Organization of subject visits and study materials
- Data entry/maintenance, assisting with data analysis and graphics
-Administration of select clinical assessments and coordination of self-report instruments
- Managing IRB protocols

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field.
- Must have minimum of 1 year experience as a research assistant in an academic or healthcare setting; experience with children and families in research setting preferred.
- Must have experience writing and managing IRB protocols.
- Must have experience working with a pediatric clinical population, preferably youth with an anxiety or mood disorder.
-Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SPSS and Access preferred.
- Must be well-organized and have excellent interpersonal skills. Team player a must.
- Must be meticulous in carrying out research protocols and enjoy working with children and families.
