The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an hourly Video Technician position who will film the 4-month visit for mother-infant-face-to-face interaction and the 12-month visit for infant attachment.

At the 4-month visit, they will prepare the filming chamber for split-screen filming; film the mother-infant-face-to-face interaction sessions; store all video materials in backup drives; prepare the video  material for coding by selecting 2.5 uninterrupted minutes of filmed interaction. At the 12-month visit, they will film the Ainsworth Strange Situation to assess infant attachment, store all video materials in backup drives, and send copies of each assessment to a collaborator to code.

Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS in Psychology. Applicants must be familiar with split-screen videotaping and with the Ainsworth infant attachment paradigm.

Preferred Qualifications: MA in Psychology
