The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time position of Biostatistician in the Mental Health Data Science division at the Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. There are 2 positions available.

Specific duties will include the statistical analysis of clinical, epidemiological, and biological data. The position will include planning and performing statistical analyses and writing reports for various externally funded research projects. The position will also include preparing tables with results and drafting final statistical methods and results sections for peer-reviewed journal publications.

Minimum Qualifications: a Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or MPH in Biostatistics, Statistics or related field. Solid academic training in biostatistics methods including techniques such as generalized linear modeling, multilevel and longitudinal models. Strong analytic skills and expert knowledge of statistical programming in SAS and/or R.

Preferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience as a biostatistician in a health research setting is preferred. Prior experience is statistical consulting and analyzing psychiatric data is preferred.
