The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time position of Administrative Assistant (Level 1) who will contribute to the administration of  a large multi-site study examining the effectiveness of an implementation intervention to rigorously roll-out the opioid court model in 10 counties in New York State.

DUTIES:   The project administrator position will include management of budget including subcontracts, annual funder reporting requirements and additional administrative requests from funder, coordination of HR-related tasks (e.g. coordinating hiring/posting and onboarding process), coordination of purchasing/acquisitions, and assisting with project meeting scheduling, including the PIs calendar around grant meetings and obligations.  Additional duties will include proof/formatting written materials, maintaining reference library and light literature review work.

Minimum Qualifications:

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree; Masters degree in administration preferred
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:  Applicant must have at least 2-3 years experience working in a research setting providing administrative support to grants management.  Applicant must have experience working with large federally-funded grant.

Preferred abilities include: excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills, adherence to detail, multi-tasking in a fast paced environment; software skills including Microsoft office suite; endnote or other reference library experience a plus.
