The Fidelity Specialist and Clinical Trainer will assess program fidelity and provide training and technical assistance for OnTrackNY and OnTrackUSA. OnTrackNY is a statewide initiative designed to provide early intervention services to adolescents and young adults experiencing a newly emerging psychotic disorder. OnTrackUSA provides training and technical assistance to states outside of New York in delivering the OnTrackNY approach to Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC).

OnTrackNY delivers evidence-based practices through a multi-disciplinary, team-based approach. OnTrackNY training focuses on specific interventions designed to support individuals in their pursuit of social, academic and vocational goals. The philosophies of recovery-oriented services, shared decision making, and equity are essential to this model of care.

The Fidelity Specialist and Clinical Trainer will also carry out fidelity monitoring of sites to assess implementation of the model as specified, through review of data collected from programs, chart review, team meeting observation and interviews with program participants, family members, and program staff. Fidelity assessments are used to support programs receipt or maintenance of CSC designation by the state.

The incumbent must be familiar with multidisciplinary treatment team approaches that are focused on effective engagement and outreach. Familiarity with evidence based psychosocial treatment approaches such as motivational interviewing, social skills training and cognitive behavioral therapy is necessary.

This initiative is under the Center for Practice Innovations (CPI) within the Division of Behavioral Health Services and Policy Research. The incumbent will report to the co-directors of OnTrackNY and work closely with other OnTrack Central staff.

All applicants should include a cover letter with their application. Applications without a cover letter will not be considered.
