The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. is looking for a part-time, hourly Research Assistant for the Partners in School project within the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry department at the New York State Psychiatric Institute.


Partners in School is a federally-funded project to improve school-based service delivery for students with autism spectrum disorder. The project is seeking an hourly (20 hours a week) research assistant to support recruitment; data collection, entry, management; and other administrative duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include assembling and disseminating recruitment materials, collecting and entering data, creating and managing data sets, coding qualitative interview data, helping with IRB applications, and overseeing other administrative responsibilities for project management.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, education, public health, or related field. Required skills include basic proficiency in SPSS, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidates must be Spanish-speaking.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferable candidates will have experience with Python, SQL, HTML/CSS/JS, Qualtrics, and redcap.
