Description: The job is located in the Anxiety Disorders Clinic of NY State Psychiatric Institute and will require being on site up to 2 days per week. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring NIH-funded and industry-sponsored clinical trials and biological research protocols in the areas of social anxiety disorder, body dysmorphic disorder and posttraumatic stress disorder.

Duties: Coordinating patient recruitment, screening, and scheduling as well as data collection and management. Conducting computerized behavioral assessment tasks, electrocardiograms, phlebotomy, IRB correspondence, and assisting with MRI scans, grant applications, manuscript preparation and supervision of volunteers.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have prior research experience, the ability to work well with patients, and an interest in brain and psychological mechanisms underlying behavior. A working knowledge of data management software, such as Excel, REDCAP, and SPSS is desirable. The ideal candidate will be a person who works well in a fast-paced environment and is interested in creative approaches to incorporating new technology into research and treatment. The candidate should be team-oriented, self-directed, and have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum BA or BS, preferably in Biology or Psychology or another relevant field. This position will expand one's research and clinical experience for those interested in pursuing medical school and/or a PhD program in clinical psychology.
