Description: Seeking a qualified human resources administrative assist who will contribute to the overall functioning of the New York State Psychiatric Center Human Resources Department.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support for the NYS Human Resources Department. Provide general front office administrative support for the entire HR Department; entry level tasks across all HR operations – recruitment, on-boarding, benefits admin, and time and attendance. Additional higher level functions – specifically in the areas of recruitment, employee on-boarding, ethics/outside employment and T&A administration.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma, 3 years of general human resources administration experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Undergraduate degree and 5 years of general human resources administration experience, specific to New York State operations.
