The Department of Molecular Imaging & Neuropathology is seeking a full-time clinical assessor/interviewer (Clinical Researcher) to perform patient assessment for federally funded studies of suicidal behavior.

Responsibilities include:

1) Screening and identifying research subjects

2) Conduct assessments using clinical research instruments and summarize and present findings

3) Liaison with research psychiatrists regarding patient clinical care

4) Prepare manuscripts and assist with grant preparations and reports;

General supervision by Dr. Ainsley Burke and Dr. Elizabeth Sublette

Education: MA or higher degree, and 1 year of experience- Master's in Psychology or PhD Preferred

Training & Experience: At least 1 year of previous work or related experience and has adult assessment experience. Experience with suicidal patients and familiarity with DSM Diagnoses.

Special Requirements: Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong clinical background with experience working with severely mentally ill. Experience with research interviewing. Psychology background essential. Good writing and editing skills.
